We are approaching that time of year again when we honor wonderful seniors in our community via the 2021-2022 Rotary Club of Joliet Silver Eagle Award! This award honors seniors from the community for volunteer service and leadership. Please note nominees are not limited to those in social service agencies, rather can be from area hospitals, schools, universities, community organizations, private and public entities etc. You are encouraged to expand your circle of possible nominees.

Please feel free to ask your colleagues and friends for nominations as well, since you directly do not have to personally know the individual, while the recommendation would then still come from you. The main criteria is that the individual is 65-years-old or older, has often gone "beyond the call of duty," and whose contributions have positively impacted Joliet. Please note while typically the volunteerism takes place in Joliet, we will consider neighboring communities if the efforts still mainly benefit Joliet. Please help spread the word and submit nominations by April 1, 2022.
