The Rotary Club of Joliet will award scholarships of $1,600 each to a student from Joliet Junior College, University of St. Francis and Lewis University who is enrolled in a program related to the Healthcare Field of Study
 
The Rotary Club of Joliet is seeking applications from students at Joliet Junior College, University of St. Francis and Lewis University whose focus of study is in Healthcare. A $1600.00 scholarship will be given to one student from each of the institutions listed above. The scholarships will be used for tuition.
 
The scholarship application includes essay questions about volunteer activities, field of study, and college/career goals. In 1989, “Service Above Self” was established as the principal to of the Rotary International because it best conveys the philosophy of unselfish volunteer service. The student applications will be asked to describe how they incorporate “Service” into their everyday life and how they will apply “Service” to their field of study and future career.
 
Students who attend Joliet Junior College, University of St. Francis, and Lewis University in the Healthcare Field of Study are eligible to apply.
 

The deadline for submission is Friday, June 17, 2020. (The application must be received on or before the submission date.)
