Rotary Foundation Fund Drive Chair Mike Hennessy kicked off our club's drive to raise needed funds in support of our Rotary International Foundation.  Our club's goal, and the goal of Rotary International, is for every Joliet Rotarian to contribute a minimum of $100 in support of the Rotary Foundation.
Our Club's goal this year is to raise a total of $16,400 and have 100% of our members support our Rotary Foundation.

The mission of the Rotary Foundation is to support the efforts of Rotary International to achieve world understanding and peace.  The tools necessary for achieving these goals are through humanitarian and educational programs.  Our Rotary International Foundation funds Health, Hunger, and Humanitarian programs; funds the Polio Plus program; provides grants for Rotary Volunteers, University Teachers and Ambassadorial Scholars; and provides Matching Grants for International Humanitarian Projects.

Again this year, our club has matching funds for those Rotarians who wish to become a Paul Harris Fellow (a Rotarian who has contributed a total of $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation).

Take a moment right now, while you are reading this, to make your tax-deductible gift.  If you have questions about our annual Rotary Foundation fund drive or our matching funds program, contact Mike Hennessy at 815/723-2500.
