Welfare Committee Presents Check to Child Care Resource & Referral for Winter Coats

Joliet Rotary Welfare Committee Chair John Spesia presented a check to Christine Bzdon and Victoria Collett of the Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) agency to help purchase winter coats for over 100 children from 3-to-5-years-old.

Founded in 1991, CCR&R promotes and facilitates affordable, quality child care in Will, Grundy, Kendall and Kankakee counties. A part of the Illinois Statewide CCR&R System of IDHS, they are a not-for-profit agency that provides services to families, child care providers and employers.

CCR&R is one of three local organizations to be recognized with a check from the Joliet Rotary Welfare Committee. The other agencies will be presented at upcoming membership meetings.
